Our Story

Marilyn M. Soper has been crafting handcrafted pens and other wooden and acrylic creations for several years. While largely self-taught, she has also expanded her skills through studies at the Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking.

She is an active member of several woodworking organizations, including the Central Connecticut Woodturners (CCW), the American Association of Woodturners (AAW), the International Pen-makers Association (IPS), Women’s International Woodturners (WIP), the Northeastern Woodworkers Association (NWA), and the Association of Segmented Bowl Makers.

More recently, Marilyn has completed multiple certification courses focused on resin techniques and the integration of resin with wood. Her certifications cover a wide range of projects, including river (epoxy) tables, charcuterie boards, flower preservation for wedding and memorial arrangements, clocks, coasters, jewelry, and many other custom items.

Resin art has become a particular passion for Marilyn, and she is excited to continue exploring new creative possibilities with this versatile medium.
